The Espace Horloger in Le Sentier uses the latest interactive techniques to introduce visitors to the secrets of time. In this museum, complication watches, historical objects and virtual installations teach visitors about the various trades and the history of watch-making in the Joux Valley.

The Espace Horloger Vallée de Joux offers visitors of all ages, whether novices or enthusiasts, an opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of watchmaking thanks to a scenography that was completely redesigned in 2019.

On the first floor, large touch-sensitive tables highlight the many professions required for the production of a watch, as well as the training required to attain these professions. The visit continues to a small cinema where a 3D film presents watchmaking in its natural environment: the Vallée de Joux and the many aspects of its heritage.

On arriving at the upper floor, the visitor discovers the Gidéon collection, which outlines the international history of the origins of time measurement. This space is presented as a stroll in the Risoud forest. The last room unveils to the public the history of the Valley, its economic development, but also its know-how, highlighting watchmaking complications, a symbol of local talent recognised throughout the world.

Since December 2019, the temporary exhibition "Top Chrono!" looks at the history of the Olympic Games and the appearance of timekeeping in sporting events. The Omega brand, Official Timekeeper of the Games, and its involvement in the development of sports timekeeping are highlighted. "Top Chrono!" also allows visitors to admire one of the first automatic chronographs, the Chronomatic, manufactured by Dubois Dépraz, developed in 1969.
