The village of Soulce with its numerous old farms lies beside the Folpotat, a stream that runs at the bottom of the small valley.

It has a population of 240 and is surrounded by a remarkably beautiful landscape. The rich variety of vegetation, plants and wildlife makes Soulce particularly attractive. There are various paths linking Soulce to the surrounding villages, passing through different environments ranging from rough pastures with more than 20 species of orchid to the river head with its streams teeming with salamanders. With no major road connections or industrial estate, Soulce offers plenty of rural charm in a natural setting.
