CARNETS NOIRCIS, Rudolf Rocker

CARNETS NOIRCIS by Tilo Steireif is a graphic novel in two volumes based on the memoirs of German anarchist Rudolf Rocker.
The two-volume edition is accompanied by an introductory text by historian and anarchism researcher Florian Eitel and an afterword with a timeline by Tilo Steireif himself.
At the book launch at artilac – in the former Bührer site at Quai 28 in Biel – Tilo Steireif will talk to historian and anarchism researcher Florian Eitel about the creative process behind the project, Rocker's eventful life, and the graphic representation of political memory. An evening for anyone interested in illustrated history and the connection between art and politics.
The evening is organized by the Free Workers' Union FAU Biel/Bienne and Edition Haus am Gern.
