A ride on the uplands of Delémont, discovering a little-known part of the Jura.

"We weren't familiar with Pleigne and its region, so we were pleasantly surprised. As planned, we are following route 719, which seems manageable to us. On the way to Bourrignon, we discover the high plateau landscape dotted with large farms. In Bourrignon, we can't resist buying a large wood-fired loaf from a farmer. Then we set off for some real mountain biking in the forests of Grande Roche. It is tough going and I just manage to save our precious purchase from falling in the mud! Afterwards, a fairly easy climb leads us back onto the uplands of Pleigne. Then we carry on up to the panoramic tower for a wonderful view of the whole region and beyond."
