Loop circuit hike of 16km departing from Vallorbe.

This challenging route takes the hiker to the summit of this emblematic mountain, from the top of which he will be able to admire no fewer than 8 lakes! From Vallorbe, walk up to Grands Crêts. A forest path then takes hikers to a place called “Sur le Voué” and then borders the peak that leads to the Dent de Vaulion. After a short well-deserved stop at the refreshment bar of the same name (open May to October), start the descent across pastures towards the Joux valley. Join a steep narrow path in the forest that leads to the old route towards Vallorbe. It passes Pouette Combe and re-joins the route leading to the Caves of Vallorbe. Then continue on a lovely path alongside the river Orbe.
Parking possible in Vallorbe.
