The JURACIME is a stage race of about 77 km with an ascent of about 2800 m. It is a tough event and therefore requires a good preparation.
The JURACIME takes place from Friday evening, 26th May to Monday morning, 29th May 2023 along the Jura Arc between Moutier, Tavannes and Saint-Imier. It is divided into 5 stages:
1st stage: Tavannes - Montoz (Werdtberg). Departure on Friday evening at 7pm.
Distance: 7 km, difference in altitude: 550 m.
2nd stage: Moutier - La Tour de Moron - Les Genevez.
Start Saturday morning at 9am.
Distance: 21 km, difference in altitude: 850 m.
3rd stage: Les Genevez - Les Reussilles/Tramelan.
Race against the clock.
Start on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
Distance: 7 km. Difference in altitude: 200 m.
4th stage: Orvin - Chasseral.
Start on Sunday morning at 10am.
Distance: 19 km. Difference in altitude: 950 m.
5th stage: Mt-Soleil - Tavannes.
Start Monday morning at 8am.
Distance: 23 km. Difference in altitude: 250 m.

- Registration limited to 200 runners. When the quota of 200 runners is reached, the applicant is placed on a waiting list.
- The race takes place in any weather. The organising committee may be called upon to modify the course depending on the weather conditions.
- A medical service (Samaritans) will be in operation during the entire event.
- The deadline for registration is 30th April 2023.
