⚠ Extraordinary closure: This activity is temporarily closed.
This house and atelier belonged to the famous Swiss painter Albert Anker in Ins.
The historic Albert Anker House, dating from 1803, in the municipality of Ins, is being developed to become the Centre Albert Anker. Together with the newly built art pavilion, the Centre Albert Anker will be a nationally important house of artists that conveys a comprehensive picture of Albert Anker’s artistic and cultural work in his time, and which makes it possible to experience this.
- The Albert Anker House remains closed for renovation and will open as the Centre Albert Anker in spring 2024. Alternatively, you can go on a walk through Ins with a visit to see Albert Anker's drawings in the community centre. This is offered as the “Alber Anker Stroll through Ins”.
