The house and atelier of the famous Swiss painter Albert Anker (1831-1910) can be visited in Ins.
Albert Anker was born in this stunning farmhouse and spent much of his life there. Unique in that way is the original studio, which conveys a great deal of the artistic spirit and prevailing tastes of those times.
It may be the only of his kind with in most parts original equipment. One could have the idea, that the artist just left his room and would come back in a moment to take place at his easel and continue painting.
