This house was built in 1602 in the center of the old village of Orvin and is a witness of everyday life of bygone days.
This house, located in the heart of the old town center of Orvin, bears witness to the life of former times. Dating from 1602, it houses many old objects and curiosities. One can discover a hair curling iron and various agricultural tools of the former times. Well-known in the region, the House of the Sarrasins is surrounded by a legend: it is said that after staying there, Sarrasins (travelling people) claimed that the house would always be spared from fire. Legend or not, the house has escaped three destructive fires in the village.
